Conference "The Net will not forget":
From confidence in new technology to protection of privacy

Privacy has come under pressure in Europe in recent years. More and more surveillance and an increase in electronic registration of personal information, means a heightened risk of misuse and to a certain extent the possibility of profiling citizens. However the privacy challenge can be dealt with by making use of modern technology and by complying with a strict interpretation of the European law in the field. The recent development and a number of proposed solutions will be the main themes in the European Privacy Conference being held in Copenhagen the 23 – 24 September.

The French embassy in Denmark, the German embassy in Denmark, the IT-University, the Danish IT- and Telecom Agency, the Danish Consumer Council and the Confederation of Danish Industries would like to invite you to “The Net will not forget !”.
